Over the years, the Fishbucket crew has come up with some killer ways to cook our catch. Whether it’s grilled, baked, pan-fried, or raw — we’ve tested it all back at the dock.
Here are some of our favorites.
🐟 Grilled Striper with Lemon-Herb Butter
🎣 Crisp skin, flaky meat, flavor for days.

Lightly oil fillets and season with sea salt, cracked pepper, and garlic powder.

Grill skin-side down for 6–8 mins, flip for 2–3 more.

Top with melted butter, lemon zest, chopped parsley, and thyme.
🐟 Striped Bass Fish Cakes
🔥 Perfect for leftovers — pan-fried perfection.

Flake cooked striper and mix with: mashed potato, diced red pepper, scallion, Old Bay, Dijon mustard, and one egg.
