What to expect on your selected charter        Striped bass are our primary target on all of the inshore trips (Bluefish also in mid summer & fall).
Striped bass are a highly sought-after sportfish/gamefish.
Striped bass fishing is primarily a "catch & release" fishery.
Striped bass must be within the "slot" limit of 28"-31" to keep/kill, so if you are lucky enough to catch a legal size "keeper" you are more than welcome to take it home to eat, otherwise they must be released alive.
We will clean and package your fish for you on the boat.
This is "Gentleman's fishing", with a chance to bring home some fish to eat. This is not party boat fishing, elbow to elbow loading coolers with dead fish.

Your success catching fish is highly dependent on
YOUR ability and experience level! We do everything we possibly can to put you in the right place at the right time with the right equipment to be successful. Ultimately it's up to you to land the fish.
These fish can be challenging to catch,  especially if you:
1. Have
ZERO fishing experience.
2. Have
NEVER fished in saltwater.
3. Have
NEVER been on a boat before.

3-Hour Open boat / Sunset trip: June & July only, Weeknights only ($200pp)
This is an open boat/shared trip.  Meaning, there may be up to six total passengers on board (strangers). These are evening only, Weeknight only, June & July only.  Here we will be fishing in and around the city. This is a chance to get out on Boston's premier charter boat for a few short hours and enjoy the beautiful-historic city of Boston from the water, while getting a little fishing time in.  On this trip we may be trolling, fishing live bait (if we happen to have live bait leftover from that day), or casting plugs if fish are actively feeding.
Our target on these short 3-hour trips is to catch and release school-sized Striped Bass ("schoolies"). We generally do not keep or kill fish on these short sunset trips.

These are short trips, and we have limited time & distance for finding the fish. The fishing can be hit or miss on these short evening  trips. These fish are wild and migratory and constantly on the move.

If you are coming to Boston "just to fish", we recommend a morning trip.

3-Hour Private / sunset trip trip: ($500) Same as the above,  but you'll have the entire boat to yourself for up to 6 people. These are short trips, and we have limited time & distance for finding the fish,  the fishing can be hit or miss on these short evening  trips. These fish are wild and migratory and constantly on the move.
If you are coming to Boston "just to fish", we recommend a morning trip.

6-hour Morning trip:  ($900) This is our most popular trip, and also the first to book out.
We generally start our day by heading just offshore in search of live baitfish (mackerel) for the days fishing.
this trip is your best chance of success, as it gives us ample time to fish multiple spots and tide cycles with live bait. Fish are almost always most active in the morning.

8-hour Morning trip: ($1,200) the full day combo trip! Starts at 5am. This is a full day on the water to experience everything we have to offer for inshore fishing, so be sure to bring a lunch.
In June we have a chance to target winter flounder on this trip while in July & August we may also target Haddock just offshore if the ocean is calm that day.

4-Hour Afternoon / Evening trip: ($700) This trip is for clients who prefer to sleep later but still want to get out on the water to try their luck.

Offshore trips are Four person MAX!

12-Hour Offshore "Combo" trip: ($2,000) 4 Passengers Max! June-November
These trips are not for the rookies! This is a full day, 12-Hour OFFSHORE trip where we will be anywhere from 20-50 miles offshore (out of sight of land) in search of Large sharks on stand up gear (man vs beast) while we fish for bottom fish like haddock, cod, redfish, cusk & and pollack while waiting for the big ones to bite. Mako, Thresher, Porbeagle & Blue sharks are common in our waters. (Fish can be processed & shipped home for a fee)

12-Hour Giant Bluefin Tuna trip: ($2,000) August-November This is a Giant Bluefin Tuna only trip. We will be anywhere from 20-50 miles offshore, in search of Giant Bluefin Tuna ONLY.  On this trip we will be anchored on structure with live bait on bent-butt 130# Class unlimited tackle, while we wait for a bite. This is usually done in locations where other bottom fish are not prevalent. (can be boring)
You have a 1:10 chance of getting a bite & You have a 1:10 chance of getting that fish to the boat.
These are the biggest, Baddest fish on the planet,  and range anywhere from 300# to 900#.
The average fight time is One hour and can go up to Seven hours on a really big fish.
There is nothing like the strength of a 900# fish! This trip is NOT for weak wristed land lubbers !
